La Sirene's Vermilion has been rereleased!

After a great concert at Alva's in San Pedro, the Grandmothers Of Invention are about ready to leave for Europe! Thanks to everyone who came to the concert and I'm looking forward to meeting new friends and reconnecting with old friends when we hit the EU!

Some exciting news:

In early 2011, I went into the studio with Cathlene Pineda and Trevor Anderies, also known as La Sirène, to record an album. That album, Vermilion, was released in the Fall of the same year. It was made available on the usual streaming/download services. After a year, because of the business models implemented by those streaming/download services, one in which the artist is paid last and least, I pulled the album from distribution. Now, the album has been reissued via Bandcamp. If you haven't had a chance to listen to the record yet, I invite you to take a few minutes and give it a try. I'm so proud of the performances by Cathlene and Trevor, and moved by the spirit of love and trust I hear in the music. Enjoy!
